Art Exhibition :: I found a camera in a bus one day by Perly
Riders Hotel, Laax Murschetg
Perly (Julien Petry) documents the freedom of snowboarding with his camera - from street to backcountry, in images full of passion and authenticity.
Perly (Julien Petry) discovered snowboarding at the age of 14 when he was traveling with his father during visits to his grandmother in the French Alps. Growing up far away from the mountains, he immersed himself in snowboarding magazines and videos and dreamed of the lifestyle they depicted. Years later, after his family moved closer to the Alps, a coincidence changed everything: he found a lost bag with a camera - a moment that paved the way for him to become a snowboard photographer.
Since then, he has dedicated himself to documenting the culture and freedom of snowboarding. From the street to the backcountry, he has accompanied some of the best snowboarders in the world. He is also co-curator of the independent print label /CLUB/SANDWICH/STUDIO/, through which he translates his passion for snowboarding into limited edition zines and photo books. Perly continues to tell visual stories that bring the spirit of snowboarding to life.
