Richard Strauss' "Till Eulenspiegel" is a humorous chamber music arrangement of his famous tone poem, arranged by Franz Hasenöhrl for an ensemble of five instruments. Georges Bizet's "Carmen" suite, arranged by Andreas Tarkmann, transforms the opera classic into an exciting chamber music format that creatively sheds new light on the characteristic richness of the melodies. This program offers a fascinating combination of musical wit and spirited charm.

Between, before and after these works, Ensemble Oktoplus will play many small, famous, much-heard and sometimes less often heard works. The audience will be involved.
