(english below) Am 24. April jährt sich die Rana Plaza Katastrophe zum 13. Mal. Rund um das Datum gibt es im Bern verschiedene Events und Aktionen im Rahmen des Fair Fashion Festival: Herzensprojekte werden vorgestellt, Räume für Flicken oder Tauschen geöffnet und Diskussionen rund um die Themen Kleider und Nachhaltigkeit angestossen. Diese und weitere Events - von Materialkunde-Workshops über Apèro - findet ihr online auf fashionrevolution.ch. Die Veranstaltungen finden in Läden und Ateliers statt, die auf dem Fair Fashion Guide zusammengetragen wurde. Den physischen findet ihr bald an all diesen Orten aufgelegt und jetzt schon online zum download.Wer ist Fashion Revolution:Am 24. April 2013 sind bei durch einen Einsturz eines Fabrikgebäudes 1135 Menschen getötet worden, hauptsächlich Textilarbeiter*innen, welche trotz einer polizeilichen Sperre des Gebäudes von ihren Vorgesetzten zu der Arbeit hinter den Maschinen gezwungen wurden. Seither hat sich Fashion Revolution als globale Bewegung zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Art und Weise wie Kleider hergestellt und benutzt werden radikal zu ändern. Die Textilindustrie ist von Menschenrechtsverletzungen und Umweltzerstörung durchzogen: Fashion Revolution klärt auf und zeigt nachhaltigere Alternativen auf. About Fashion Revolution:On April 24, 2013, 1,135 people were killed when a factory building collapsed. Most were textile workers who were forced by their supervisors to work behind the machines in a building already closed down by the authorities.
